Relax in the tranquility of rural France

A holiday to remember

Explore world famous Bastide towns, wander through colourful local markets, mess about in boats on the Dordogne, indulge in authentic local cuisine and wine, take advantage of endless walking over the gently rolling hills on your doorstep.

Upon returning to this traditional gite, you can relax by the pool while the children splash about, linger with friends over preparing meals in the poolside kitchen, curl up on a blanket by the lake watching the wildlife, enjoy a sleep in the deliciously comfortable beds, or simply take in a sundowner on the terrace catching the last of the evening’s rays.

Staying at Moulin de Pomette will create special memories for years to come.

Ideal for groups and families

Moulin de Pomette retains the rustic charm typical of sites of the region, but has been sympathetically renovated to provide the modern comforts required. The house sleeps 10 in 5 bedrooms (2 adjoining) with 2 bedrooms on the ground floor and 3 on the first floor making it perfect for 2 families sharing or a group of friends. The swimming pool and bespoke pool house are a particular feature. The house sits in 11 acres of grounds which include lakes, a millpond and a river which all support an abundance of wildlife; everything from deer, pheasants and boar to the extremely rare hoopoe bird, more usually found in Africa.
